Who we are
Age Concern Ayr SCIO is a registered Scottish Charity that strives to work for its local elderly community to reduce poverty or disadvantage. We do this by running a charity shop to receive donations and then re-sell them at reduced price back to the local community with the aim of allowing our elderly to change their lives for the better and transform our society. We review, research, evaluate and share our knowledge, as we strive to enhance our portfolio to achieve successes and become more effective.
We deploy part of the income generated by our shop to run an Advice and Information Centre. This is a client led facility and we offer free and impartial advice on all matters and aim to resolve queries fully or to the best of our ability.
As a registered charity, we raise and manage funds, and our annual financial reports are held on record by the Scottish Charity Regulator, OSCR and are available to view in the public domain on its website.

Age Concern Ayr SCIO will only use any personal details you provide to respond to your enquiry alone and will not share them with third parties nor use them for any other purpose, unless you give permission and or this is agreed during any follow-up discussions.
Your details will be held on the server of our third party website provider host for 3 months but not for longer than is necessary, and will not be added to any marketing databases.
